The Web Enterprise Portals on Inteeg.com provide its users the facility to write bolgs. Now people ask me many times, "Whats the need of a blog on an official portal?" and I find it difficult to convince them. So this time I have decided to change my approach and tell people "What if there is no blog facility...".
Importance of few things is understood only during their absence. So lets see just 1 example what happens if blogs are absent from a web enterprise portal.
Consider that one of the employees got an opportunity to attend a prestigious international conference. When he returns he has many good experiences and knowledge to share with his colleagues and seniors. This he would do during lunch hours or after office. The learnings of such discussion may soon fade from peoples memory as it was just a conversation and if the employee quits the job later, all the benefits that the organization gained through that employee from the international conference is gone with him.
