It is a matter of sheer delight for the RGTU to be on iBranch. We firmly believe that in the Age of Knowledge it is absolutely essential to create Knowledge Power by effective utilization of the power of connectivity and power of networking so that the brain waves and thoughtware of the rich talent pool of RGTU students, faculty and our stake holders can be pooled together to create Advantage Education & Research for our Technical University. In the Knowledge Age while it is absolutely essential to create knowledge it is equally important to share the knowledge created. This way we can draw immense benefit for ourselves by working in a connected economy.
We shall succeed in this endeavor by effective participation of our talented students and faculty and also by sharing the wisdom of our experts from industry and R&D organizations. I invite all well intentioned people to share their thought and brain waves to enable us to serve the budding engineering & technology community better than we could do by our own individual efforts.
Let me close by adding that our dream is to transform RGTU as a World Class Knowledge University of the 3rd Millennium. We have chosen the acronym UNI3 so that you as our partners in progress & I the University could excel multifold by working together in harmony and synthesis for a common collective good of the vast humanity. I look forward to scan regularly your brain waves and thoughtware to build the University of our dreams.
Yours sincerely
Prof. P .B. Sharma

Re: Power of Connectivity and Networking
I think everyone will be a little awed and intimidated to comment on the Honorable Vice Chancellor's blog so I will set the ball rolling! It is an honor and a privilege to work in an institution which is actively inolved in extending the frontiers of technological knowledge. I am perhaps extremely biased in this but I do believe that if universities are led by renowned academicians, as RGTU is, then it will have a revolutionary impact on the culture and practices of that organisation. The organisational culture at RGTU at present is open and supportive. There is a positive energy flowing. The seminars, interactions, conferences and general suppport for research and academics is empowering. No dream is too big. I am sure RGTU will become a world class University!

Re: Power of Connectivity and Networking
We would like to ignite the imagination of our young students and our well qualified teaching community. I wish to see discussion forums even on improving the services of the university in which our students should become part of the solution. The power of connectivity creates knoeledge power. It helps in knowledge management and equips us with the capabilities of coping with the knowledge explosion being witnessed in all spheres of intellectual activity. So do not hesitate to for such common interest forums.

Re: Power of Connectivity and Networking
It is proven adage that Brain is just like parachute that works only when it open(Unfolds)..Shares of knowledge and exchange of views added to teaching to budding students and research scholars could be propagates widely-thanks to the power of connectivity and networking. The initiatative taken by Honourable V.C.,R.G.T.Univ., for organising seminar, workshop etc. followed by his presendential lectures and propagations of the text among academecians, students ,research scholar and industry personnel through blog - a power of connecticity and networking, would definitely carve a nitch in the area of science 7 technology developments.
